If it’s your first time visiting one of our dispensaries, this quick guide will walk you through how to shop with us. With such a wide variety of products, it can feel a little overwhelming at first—and in some locations, we share space with our sister store, Smoke2o, which can add to the confusion. No worries, though! We’ve broken it all down into 5 simple steps to make your first visit smooth and stress-free. Let’s get started.

1. Pick a location and stop by

We have three UURB locations across Montana: Bigfork, Fairview, and Bozeman. Choose the one closest to you and stop in with a valid ID. If you're a medical marijuana patient in Montana, be sure to bring your medical card as well.

If the dispensary is a little busy when you arrive, no problem. In Bigfork and Fairview, you can browse Smoke2o, our in-store smoke shop, while you wait. Check out our selection of glass, smoking accessories, alternative medicine, and nicotine products. In Bozeman, we offer a wide range of the same products throughout the UURB space, so you’ll still have plenty to explore while you wait. After that, take a look through our menu and see what catches your eye.

2. Take a look through our menus and start shopping.

We offer both paper and digital menus to make browsing easy. Our menus are organized into categories like deli & prepackaged flower, prerolls (including infused and multipacks), concentrates, carts and disposables, edibles and drinks, and topicals. Whether you're looking for medical or recreational cannabis, the kind of high you're after will help guide your product selection. Each type can offer a different experience.

If you’re not quite sure where to start, don’t worry. Our budtenders are knowledgeable and friendly, and they’re here to guide you through the options. Whether you want something to help you relax, boost creativity, or manage pain, they’ll listen to what you need and recommend products that fit your preferences and experience level. Feel free to ask any questions, no matter how big or small. They’re happy to help you find the right fit. Once you have a few options in mind, it's time to make your selections.

3. Make strain and flavor selections

Most of our products come in a variety of strains or flavors, and we provide all the testing information for each one so you can make an informed choice. Potency plays a big role in what’s right for you—higher THC levels might be too strong if you’re new or sensitive, while others with more experience or higher tolerance may prefer something more potent to get the desired effects.

For some products, like edibles and drinks, the potency tends to be consistent across the different flavors, so you can choose based on taste without worrying about strength differences. However, some of our Sugar Leaves edibles will differ in potency depending on the snack you choose.

Remember, everyone’s preferences and needs are different, so take your time exploring the options. And as always, our budtenders are here to answer any questions and help you find exactly what works for you. 4. Purchase your cannabis.

Here at UURB, we offer a few easy payment options. There’s an ATM on site where you can withdraw cash, and we also have a cashless ATM that accepts debit cards only.

Did you bring your own exit bag? Great! Our budtenders will be happy to fill it for you! If not, no worries. We provide different sized bags free of charge. Just please remember to bring your bag back next time so we can continue offering this as a free service for everyone. 5. Enjoy responsibly and know what to expect.

After you’ve made your purchase, it’s important to use your product responsibly and understand how it might affect you. Different strains and products can hit differently. Things like edibles can also take a while to kick in. If it’s your first time, or you’re trying something new, start slow and wait a bit before having more.

If you have questions or need tips on how to use something, just ask. Our budtenders are always around to help—even after you leave the store. And remember to keep your cannabis away from kids and pets & make sure to follow Montana’s laws when using it.
